Cicero District 99 is dedicated to the safety, wellbeing, and success of every student. District policies + state and federal laws ensure all children have access to free, high quality public education — regardless of immigration status, identity, or background.

District 99 does not ask for immigration info when enrolling a student, and immigration status will never impact the education or support a child receives. Student records are kept confidential and are only shared with parent/guardian consent or a lawful court order. Immigration or law enforcement personnel must present a valid judicial warrant before entering District property.

We remain committed to a supportive, professional, and safe learning environment for all. Families needing assistance are encouraged to reach out to our counselors, social workers, and psychologists for support. The most magical time of year is here — and it's sounding better than ever! Musicians are tuning up their instruments, warming up their voices, and preparing breathtaking winter concerts and art showcases for our community. All of our intermediate elementary band students will unite on the main stage at Unity Junior High School for a major district-wide concert. This exciting milestone gives students a preview of where they'll continue their musical journeys in middle school — and it shows just how strong and connected our growing music program has become. In District 99, advanced music education begins as early as 4th grade — empowering students with creativity, teamwork, discipline, and confidence that lasts a lifetime. As our Winter Concert Series begin, we invite you to come feel the music and celebrate the progress happening on every stage. Your presence inspires our students — and reminds them that their talent matters. District 99 is proud to nurture the arts... and even prouder of the young musicians who are already raising the bar.
