It is the pleasure of Cicero District 99 to announce Alison Espinoza as the new incoming principal for Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, effective July 1, 2025.

Espinoza comes to Lincoln as an experienced educational leader, whose career began at Lincoln in 2010 where she served as a sixth-grade teacher for six years, establishing strong relationships with students, staff and the greater school community.

In 2016, Espinoza advanced into an administration role as assistant principal of Goodwin Elementary School, where she spent five years supporting academic growth, fostering a positive school culture and leading building-wide initiatives.

Since 2021, Espinoza has served the District as the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Coordinator, leading district-wide efforts to strengthen student intervention systems, providing professional development on behavior supports, de-escalation strategies and mental health, and has played a key role in enhancing MTSS processes across all 15 schools.

Now, with a wealth of leadership experience and a deep understanding of systems-level support, Espinoza is eager to return to her educator roots at Lincoln. She looks forward to building on the school’s successes and contributing to its continued excellence through collaborative, student-centered leadership.
